Struggling with M18 Mower’s Cut Quality Compared to My Old Honda?

I'm having some trouble with my M18 mower not cutting as well as my previous Honda mower. It's like it keeps leaving strips of uncut grass behind. I've tried slowing down to almost setting 3 and using the turbo blade speed, which helps a little, but not enough. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think the mower might need more weight or is there something else I could try?

Honestly, I switched back to gas mowers for a reason. Battery-powered ones can be hit or miss. Just my two cents, but if cut quality is a priority, gas might be a more reliable option.

I found that a high lift blade can really improve the cut quality. If you’re not using one, it might be worth checking out. It could help avoid those uncut strips you're seeing!

Definitely! I switched to a high lift blade on my mower, and it made a noticeable difference in the cut.

I've had a great experience with my M18 mower; it only had cutting issues when the blade was damaged, usually by rocks. I mow on a higher speed setting to keep the motor from revving too much, and it seems to do the trick for me! Maybe check your blade for damage?
