Hey everyone, I'm a DIY enthusiast and I'm having some serious trouble achieving straight and square cuts with my circular saw. I have a Ryobi model and use a Kreg AccuCut track system. I've even upgraded to a high-quality blade and checked that my saw is precisely at 90 degrees. However, no matter how careful I am, my cuts always seem to bow in the middle, and they're not square at all. I've spent hours troubleshooting, watched countless tutorial videos, and even re-mounted my track multiple times, but I still can't get it right. I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing or if this is just the limitations of my tools. Any insights? Thanks!

Hey! Do you have a picture of your cut compared to a straight edge? It's tough to know how bad the bow is. If it's a small bow, that's pretty normal and not something to worry too much about! Just a heads up, pushing too hard against the track can sometimes cause it to flex a bit, especially in the middle of longer cuts. That could be affecting your results too.

I don't have a picture right now, but I noticed the bow actually goes away from the track. The ends hit the line perfectly, but there's about a 1-2mm discrepancy in the middle. For some projects, that level of precision isn't cutting it. I’ve tried plunging the saw at different points to improve the cut, but it’s still not perfect. I made sure my saw is square before cutting too, yet the final result still isn't square. Should I consider upgrading my equipment?
