Hey everyone, I think I might have found a termite in my house, but I'm not sure if it actually is one, and I'm kinda panicking. What should I do?

If you're unsure, it might be a good idea to pick it up and move it outside. Sometimes they just hitch a ride from outdoors. Keep an eye out for more or any signs of damage—if you see those, then you might have a real problem on your hands.
I actually found a second termite and put them in a jar, but they're dead now. I don't usually handle bugs well, so this has got me really stressed! Can someone reassure me about what to do next?
