I'm considering starting a flower garden this spring and I'm wondering how similar flowers are to succulents in terms of care and growing conditions. Can anyone share their insights?

Not really! Succulents usually store water in their leaves, while flowers don’t do that. They’re pretty different types of plants and have distinct care needs.
You should look into native annual flowers that flourish in your area. Timing is key if you’re going from seed! I also suggest checking out local nurseries for advice on good flower varieties. If your climate allows, something like Euryops would give you pretty yellow flowers with low water needs year-round.

That's true! Flowers are their own category and need different care than succulents.
