I recently sold my SawStop contractor saw, which was a bit of a downer for me. I'm looking to downsize to a more compact saw since the contractor model was taking up too much space with its T Glide fence and table extension. It served me well for my hobby projects, but now I'm considering either the SawStop job site saw or the Festool systainer saw. Do any of you own one of these, and what can you share about your experiences or recommendations? I'd appreciate your input!

I've got the SawStop CTS myself, and I absolutely love it! It replaced my old skill saw that I had for over 25 years. Dust collection is pretty effective, and the fence design is excellent, allowing for long cuts and small strips with accuracy. I bought it mainly for the safety features, and it's performed flawlessly for me. Just a heads up, it doesn't support a dado blade set, which might be something to consider!
I have the SawStop Jobsite saw, and it's amazing! I primarily use it for cutting oak, and the cuts are always clean and precise. I've never faced any issues with the fence or blade setup. Swapping out the blade guard and riving knife is super easy, and the frame is fantastic—folds up quickly and is well-balanced for storage. It’s definitely one of my go-to tools! Good luck with your choice!

For dust collection, how do you manage both the blade and table port simultaneously? Is there a specific splitter for that?
