Thoughts on the Bosch Router/Router Table Combo? Need Workbench Ideas!

I'm looking for feedback on the Bosch router and router table combo since I have limited space. I need it to make stiles and rails for various projects around the house. Has anyone used this setup with Freud or Whiteside T&G bits? Also, I don't have a proper workbench and need suggestions for a safe and stable setup. My table surfaces aren't reliable, but I do have heavy-duty metal sawhorses. What's a budget-friendly option that I could use with this combo?

I've got the Bosch 1617 fixed router paired with the Bosch RA1181 router table, and I bolt it to a mobile bench. When it comes to bits, I've used Whiteside, Freud, Amana, and CMT without any issues. Just a heads up, using a benchtop table can be tricky without a stable work surface underneath.

Yeah, stability is key! Make sure whatever you use doesn’t wobble.

The Bosch router is solid for smaller projects. Just keep in mind that for longer boards, you might run into some challenges since the table isn't too wide and you'll need a sled for the ends. Also, make sure your stock is milled precisely if you're doing tongue and groove joints. Any plans on how you'll achieve that?

I don’t have a jointer, but I do have a jobsite saw and a track saw, so I'll make do. We're mostly building cabinet doors and drawer fronts for now.
