Thoughts on the Brushed Jigsaw DCS331B for Occasional Use?

Hey folks, I'm considering picking up the Dewalt brushed jigsaw (model DCS331B) for a project I have coming up. I'm planning to use it just occasionally in the future, so I'm curious if you think it's worth it or if I should look at other options. Anyone have experience with this model?

Is it really cheaper than what's on sale at Lowe's? I found it for under $100, which seems like a solid deal right now.

Yeah, I saw the brushed one for $99 at Home Depot, but Lowe's is a pain for me. I'm also looking at a reciprocating saw, but I didn't see any bundles.

If you're only going to use it occasionally, any brushed jigsaw should get the job done. If you already have some Dewalt tools, it makes sense to add this to your collection. However, if you're doing heavy-duty work, like construction on oil rigs or skyscrapers, you might want to consider something more robust.

Thanks, I actually have a bunch of Dewalt tools already!

What if I want to build an oil rig skyscraper? Haha!

Do you really need cordless? If it's a tool you won't be using much, I usually just go for a budget-friendly corded version.
