I'm considering upgrading my lawn mower and have a $150 voucher from my city to recycle my gas mower for an electric model. I noticed Milwaukee's mower is going for about $1,000 at Home Depot, but I've also seen Ryobi options ranging from $200 to $350. I'm curious if the Milwaukee mower is really worth that price difference, especially since it would be great to stay within the same battery system to use the batteries for my other Milwaukee tools. If anyone has thoughts on the Milwaukee mower or recommends another solid electric mower, I would appreciate the feedback!

I really like my Milwaukee mower! It took some getting used to, but now it performs really well on my 3/4 acre. Just watch the turbo mode; it drains the batteries faster. It's quality equipment, so make sure you do your homework on other brands too!
I say go for the Milwaukee! Honestly, I dropped a pretty penny on it but it's been a total game-changer. I can mow my yard without worrying about it dying mid-job like my old Ryobi did, which was a dud for me. The Milwaukee handles taller grass like a champ. No regrets here spending that extra cash!
Have you checked out any Home Depot bundles? I heard they're doing a mower, blower, and trimmer deal now. You could buy that and return the blower right after to save some cash. By the way, I've been using a Ryobi cordless mower that I got for $200 and it works fine for my front and back yard, if you’re looking for something cheaper.
