Has anyone tried out the new Insider Ratchet by Milwaukee? I find the concept pretty interesting and I'm curious about how much space it actually saves in tight spots. Is it really practical to use?

I'm thinking about getting one, but I've heard that Milwaukee designed the socket holder to be unique, which means it won't fit any of the pass-through sockets or extensions I already own. That’s a bit of a bummer.
I absolutely love my Insider Ratchet! It's super space-saving, and the pass-through sockets are fantastic when you're working with long bolts or threaded rods. This ratchet was actually my second Milwaukee tool after I got their M18 inflator, and I'm really pleased with it overall.
I'm a big fan of the Insider myself! It’s highly functional. Just remember, you can still use it like a regular extended reach ratchet if you attach a 3/8" adapter and save those low-profile sockets for when you really need them. I've had great success using it to hang an attic ladder with long carriage bolts, it made leveling the ladder so much easier than using a wrench.
I don't use it that often, but it’s a nice tool to have. The only tricky part is remembering that you own it when you're stuck spinning nuts on threaded rods for ages!

Yeah, I totally get that! Those low-profile sockets can be tricky on flat surfaces, but they're awesome for specific tasks.
