Thrips in My Arugula: What Can I Do?

I just discovered thrips infesting my arugula, and I'm worried I've lost my crop. Is there a safe systemic solution for edible plants? Besides using neem oil, which I've heard isn't very effective, what other options do I have to deal with these pests?

Neem oil isn't great for thrips, but I've had success with Capt Jack's Dead Bug Brew. It's safe for edible plants, just be sure to read the label for how long to wait before harvesting. Also, if you're spraying it outside, try to do it in the evening when the bees and other pollinators aren't around. Remember, spinosad can harm beneficial insects, so use it wisely!

You could try introducing ladybugs to your plants; they can help control the thrip population. And don't worry, they can thrive indoors too! Just be ready to deal with a few little critters roaming around, though!
