Hey there! I'm diving into gardening for the first time and considering creating a 4 x 8-foot garden bed, possibly even two. I'm really into the square foot gardening method and trying to figure out how much I can grow in that space. I might have gotten a bit ahead of myself and bought a few flower varieties: zinnias, strawflowers, queen anne's lace, love-in-a-mist, and snapdragons. I live in southern PA, in zone 7A, and I'm wondering if it's too late to start my snapdragons from seed. I haven't sown them yet, but I planned to do that today. I have two 72-cell flats and was mainly focusing on starting just the strawflowers and snapdragons from seeds. I'm planning on direct sowing the others. Any advice or tips from experienced gardeners would be awesome!

You should definitely get those snapdragons going now! If you're using a humidity dome, that should help a ton. I started mine in early February and they’re doing great now! I found the seeds are really tiny, so they take a bit longer to sprout.
It's a bit late for snapdragons, but don’t worry, it's not too late to get them going! I recommend starting those strawflowers too since they take quite a while to bloom. And make sure to plant a bit more snapdragons than you think you'll need—they can be tricky!
Noted! Thank you!
Starting your snapdragons now should work fine—they aren't super sensitive. For your 4x8, just divide it into 32 squares of 12 inches each and look up what each plant needs in terms of space. Gas up your garden game and scale up the quantities if you want more of your favorites!
Thanks for the advice!

Oh wow! Did you add two seeds per cell?
