Tips for Adding Privacy to My New Garden

Hey everyone! We recently moved into a new build and have a blank canvas for our garden design. However, our neighbors' houses back onto ours, making it a bit exposed. I'm looking for ideas to create more privacy while making it a nice space. So far, I'm thinking about a patio and a vegetable patch along one side, plus a path all around with grass in the middle. What are some good options for enhancing privacy?

We’ve had a similar issue with our garden being overlooked. We planted a mix of shrubs and trees, and they’re really filling out nicely. Our flamingo tree has grown huge, and our rose bushes are doing great too. Our nearest neighbor planted some bamboo varieties that haven’t spread like crazy, and they’ve really helped block the view. It might take teamwork with the neighbors, but big bushes or trees work wonders for privacy!

Thanks, I’ll definitely check out flamingo trees! I’m also considering some trellises on top of the fence as an added option.
