I've got these metal tractor seat stools in my new kitchen, but they're really uncomfortable to sit on. When I look for cushions, I only see expensive ones designed for actual farm tractors, which feels odd for indoor use. I'm looking for any DIY ideas, product suggestions, or hacks to make these stools more comfy. I'd appreciate any tips or even pictures of what you've done!

One easy fix is to add a seat with a back. A friend of mine used old saddles as seats, and they turned out to be pretty comfy, at least for short sitting periods. This might give your stool the extra support you need! Here’s a pic of what they did: https://flic.kr/p/2ruQUjq

Is this a cushion on top or did you replace the seat completely?
