Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to remove the rubber insert on the top of my bifold door. I need to replace the roller, which popped right out, but this rubber insert seems stuck and isn't budging at all. It's bending when I try to move it, so I don't want to force it too much. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I also managed to take a picture, which you can check out here: https://imgur.com/a/xMiKWmO

You might also want to check if there are any clips or screws holding it in place. Sometimes, there are hidden hooks in the frame. If all else fails, consider reaching out to a handy friend for help!
Removing rubber inserts can be tricky! Most of the time, they are just held in by friction, so try using a putty knife or a flathead screwdriver to gently pry it loose. Just make sure to work slowly to avoid ripping it. If it’s still stubborn, you can heat it up slightly with a hair dryer to make the rubber more pliable. Good luck!

Great tips! I’ve had success using a simple heat method too. Just be careful not to overheat it!
