I've recently gotten into woodworking as a hobby, but now with a newborn, I can only work late at night, often after 8 PM. My garage is about 40-50 feet away from my neighbors across the street. I'm looking for advice on how to effectively soundproof my garage so I can work without disturbing them. I really can't move right now because of my interest rate. By the way, you can't hear anything from inside the house when I'm working!

I insulated my garage with Rockwool and added some paneling, which worked wonders for sound deadening—and it's fireproof too! My roll-up door is the only part that still lets some noise through. So, if you can add insulation and seal any gaps, that could help a lot.
Definitely ask your neighbors if they can hear you when you're working. When my garage door is shut, the noise is usually muffled, so they might not even notice. If they're okay with it, that's great! Just make sure they feel comfortable letting you know if it does become a problem later.
I had a similar issue in my garage, and surprisingly, my neighbors didn’t hear much noise when my garage door was closed. I was routing some really loud materials one night, so I just texted my neighbor to check if he could hear me. Turned out, he couldn’t catch any sound at all! Closing the doors really helps reduce any noise that carries outside.
