Tips for Starting a Veggie Garden on My Balcony

Asked By GreenThumbZ3r0 On

Hey everyone! I'm completely new to gardening but am eager to start growing some of my own veggies. I have a small balcony where I've managed to grow some basil, coriander, and a chili plant. My building even offers free allotment spaces and a greenhouse, which is amazing! I'm looking for suggestions on easy-to-grow plants, especially veggies and herbs, that I can handle as a total beginner. Also, any advice on what works well with the London weather would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

That's such a great throwback! I remember when I used to explore the gardening scene in London before moving to Newcastle. Time flies, huh?

It might be a bit late for some plants, but you can definitely regrow spring onions and leeks! They’re super easy and should do fine even starting now.
