Hey everyone! I'm super excited to kick off my very first garden and I'll be using raised beds made of cedar wood. Since I'm a total newbie to gardening, I'd love any tips or ideas on what to plant. Any recommendations for a beginner? Thanks, and happy planting!

Definitely plant what you love to eat! It's helpful to understand which plants thrive in cool weather versus those that prefer the heat. Since it’s getting late for planting cool season veggies, you might want to focus on warm-season plants that enjoy the sun. Examples include tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers!
I’m not too familiar with the climate in Southern Ontario, but I think it’s always a good idea to check out some gardening books. I really like Niki Jabbour's works and MIGardener has tons of great info too. Those resources could help you figure out what to plant and when!
I’ll check those out! ?

Okay! Any examples of cool season veggies and when to plant them?
