I'm planning to buy about 15 pressure treated 2x4s because I have a discount at Lowe's, but I won't be using them for at least a week. What's the best way to store them to avoid warping? Should I stack them or lay them flat? And should they stay in my garage, or would it be better to leave them outside in the Texas heat?

Just a heads up, good luck finding straight lumber at Lowe's! I've had my fair share of struggles with that.
For pressure treated lumber, it's not the easiest to keep straight, but stacking them in two or three piles can work for a few weeks. If you're storing them longer, make sure to support them off the ground and consider strapping them with ratchet straps to keep them aligned.
Totally agree! I've done that, and it really helps keep everything in shape.
Also, think about how they were stored at the store; that might impact their shape too. Just something to consider when you pick them up!
And just be sure to check them after a while, sometimes they can still bend.
