Tips for Storing Tools in a Maverick Truck

Asked By CraftyCactus79 On

I'm switching to a Maverick truck for my work, and I'm finding the bed space pretty limited. I was thinking about using Packout kits for some efficient storage, but I'm not sure how to keep everything secure. Does anyone have suggestions for products or DIY solutions to prevent my Packouts from sliding around in the bed?

I've managed to fit five Packout boxes in my Maverick's bed under the tonneau cover without any issues. They stay put pretty well, but if you're still worried, you could add some foam padding to keep them extra secure!

Even though I don't own a Maverick, I noticed some contractors folding up the back seat and storing tools on the floor. It seemed like a clever mounting solution! Might be worth looking into if you're in need of extra storage.

You can make some custom dividers using 2x lumber since the bed has slots for them already. It’s a simple solution that lets you organize your Packouts exactly how you want. Just cut them to size and slide them in.

That sounds like a solid idea! Do you have any specific dimensions for the dividers?
