I'm really annoyed by how echoey my shower is! I'm looking for products or techniques to improve the acoustics without using those traditional office acoustical tiles. Ideally, I'd like to enjoy my music or podcasts while I shower, but the echo makes it hard to hear anything clearly. Does anyone have suggestions for products like sound-damping tiles or any other effective methods?

Have you tried using shower curtains? They can actually help reduce some of that echo. We swapped out our glass door for a fabric shower curtain, and it made a noticeable difference in the sound. Plus, they're way easier to clean!
You might want to consider the type of speaker you're using too. A directional speaker could work better by focusing the sound toward you instead of allowing it to bounce off the walls. Just a thought!
Using towels, a shower rug, or even hanging pictures and plants in your shower can help reduce echo. The echoes come from sound waves reflecting off flat surfaces, so adding texture can really break them up and help with the acoustics!
Yeah, curtains do make a difference! I used to have a glass door too and it was such a pain. Fabric curtains are a much simpler solution.
