I'm starting to work with sheet materials more often and it's getting pricey to rely on a sawmill for all the cuts. I'm leaning towards getting a circular saw with a long level since I've read reviews suggesting that the cheaper track saws often don't maintain a 90-degree cut or hold angles well. On the other hand, I've come across several positive reviews for the Dewalt circular saw, particularly regarding its stability. What do you think would be the better choice—a budget track saw or a decent circular saw?

It depends if you're working indoors or outdoors—track saws are awesome for dust collection. Just something to keep in mind!
You can also consider getting a circular saw and building your own track saw guide. There are lots of tutorials online that can help you out! Check out some YouTube videos for details.
Most track saws are great for handling sheet goods without any issues. It's better to avoid the really cheap options, though; a good mid-range track saw would do the trick. If your main task is breaking down sheet goods, I’d suggest going with a quality track saw if you can.
