Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a frustrating situation with my DeWalt DW735 planer. I was working with a large piece of maple when the lights in my shop flickered and the breaker tripped. After resetting the breaker, I found that the planer wouldn't start. I waited a couple of days, pressed the reset button next to the on switch, and it temporarily worked for a few passes before shutting down again. Now, it seems like that reset button won't engage fully — it feels stuck. Anyone have any tips on how to troubleshoot or fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

It's possible that if it's not turning on now, that internal push button for thermal overload might need replacing. They're not too expensive, and if you're a bit handy with electrical components, it shouldn't be an issue to switch out the part. Just make sure to unplug it first!
