Trouble with My Water Pump: Not Turning On, Any Ideas?

I've got a LIFEP04 rechargeable battery, a solar controller, a solar panel, and a Youngtree water diaphragm pump. Everything's been working well—I can even charge a USB device through the controller. Last season, the pump was running fine, but now it has stopped working. At first, it leaked a bit, and after I tightened everything, it just won't run at all. The pump is connected to a rain barrel with water, and there's pressure on the input side, but whether there's pressure on the output or not, the pump doesn't activate. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on? When should the pump turn on, and what might be the issue? Thanks a lot!

It sounds like you might have a pressure or float switch that’s supposed to trigger the pump. A good first step is to check if there’s power going to the pump using a multimeter. This will help you determine if the pump is getting any power.
