I've got a 20V fan that has started acting up – it works only intermittently or sometimes doesn't turn on at all. This fan has been reliable for almost a year, so this is frustrating. I've checked the battery, and it's not the issue since the fan behaves the same way with multiple batteries. I'm wondering if it could be a faulty potentiometer, which I believe is the main switch. Has anyone else experienced this?

If you're up for some DIY, try opening it up and bypassing the switch by connecting the wires directly. If it still won’t work, you'll want to check the motor next.
I actually took mine apart too. The power is going into the switch, but nothing comes out of it. Looks like the switch might be faulty!
