Hey everyone! I'm having some issues with my portable dishwasher's faucet connection. I bought an adapter with a 15/16-27 male thread that fits well and doesn't leak, but when I turn the water on, nothing happens. Instead, the pressure builds up so much that when I disconnect the hose, water bursts everywhere. Could the problem be with the hose or the faucet adapter? Any guidance would be appreciated!

Have you tried disconnecting the hose at the dishwasher end? If water flows through it, then the issue might be with the dishwasher itself. Also, check if there's a plug that needs to be removed inside the connection on the dishwasher. Sounds like the pressure is just trapped somewhere and not getting through.
First off, have you turned on the dishwasher itself? It might not be getting water into it. If that’s not the issue, the disconnect might be causing the pressure to build up. Just putting it out there!
I do have it on! When I fill it with a jug, it works fine. The issue really seems to be with the faucet and hose connection.
What model of dishwasher are you working with? That info might help pinpoint the problem more accurately.
It's a Comfee portable dishwasher. I found it on Amazon and it's working well otherwise.

I tested that and water flows through the hose fine. So it seems like the dishwasher might be the problem.
