I've been looking into tool storage solutions and ordered the TSC special, but my order got canceled. They offered me a gift card as compensation, which is great! Now, I'm trying to figure out the best way to store the tools I got for Christmas. I initially thought about the TSTAK for $29, but since it's going to cost more, I'm wondering if I should consider other options. Also, I saw someone using a really nice box for their reciprocating saw and would love it if someone could share the photo and model number because I can't seem to find it!

Great to hear about the gift card! I remember having similar issues with cancellations before. About your storage, the ToughSystem is much sturdier compared to TSTAK and still quite mobile. I've got mine filled with tools for various jobs, and they keep everything well protected from moisture — a real plus on job sites. TSTAK is still okay for casual use, though!
Honestly, TSTAK is more of a beginner's option while ToughSystem is built for contractors. There's a big difference in durability and performance. If you're just storing tools at home and won't be moving them around too much, TSTAK might be fine. However, ToughSystem 2.0 is a massive improvement over the original. I have both and suggest ToughSystem for anyone serious about tool organization and durability. Plus, they offer great shelving units for easy access!
Totally agree! TSTAK is decent for home use but won't hold up as well if you're constantly on the go. ToughSystem really shines in tough conditions.
