I'm replacing my leaking toilet wax ring and came across a Korky universal wax-free toilet seal at Lowe's. Now I'm torn between using this foam option or sticking with the traditional wax seal. What do you guys think I should go with?

Honestly, I’d go with a thick wax ring. They’ve always worked for me, and I’ve never had any issues. They just seem to conform better, especially in older homes where things might not be perfectly aligned.
I understand your hesitation, but I’ve had good luck with foam seals too. They’re less messy and reusable, which can be a big win! I haven’t had any blowouts on mine yet, plus they're easy to realign if needed. Just something to consider!
While both wax and foam can get the job done, I’ve always preferred wax. It’s the classic choice for a reason! Just be careful to scrape off the old wax ring before you put the new one on, or you could end up with some bigger problems.
