I'm having trouble with my well that produces a lot of sediment. I recently installed a series of filters to help with that, but after rebuilding my system, I'm now experiencing terrible cycling on the pressure switch. I have a couple of theories: one is that there might be low air pressure in the pressure tank, and the other is that pressure fluctuations could be due to the filters. Has anyone else dealt with this issue or have suggestions on what I might have done wrong? I'd appreciate any tips on how to fix the problem. Also, I'm new here and will try to include a photo of my setup!

It sounds like the filters might not be in the right spot. They should be installed after the pressure tank, which is usually after the pressure switch. If you have them positioned before these components, it can definitely cause the cycling issues you're noticing.

I installed them as: well, check valve, pressure switch, filter set, pressure tank, house. The pressure tank had sediment when I took the old setup apart, so I thought it made sense to put the filters before it. Is that where I went wrong?
