I like to keep a list of maintenance tasks and add them to an app like Google Calendar. Some key things I do annually include changing furnace filters every month, flushing out the on-demand water heater, and visually inspecting the roof and attic. Oh, and don't forget about checking the refrigerator coils and cleaning out the dryer vent too!
It’s also a good idea to turn off and back on all your water shut-off valves once a year. Keeps everything running smoothly!
