I'm considering planting an olive tree in a large pot for my south-facing porch. I'd love to hear any other plant suggestions that thrive in similar conditions!

It’s great that you're looking for plants for a south-facing space! Olive trees are a solid choice, but you might also consider herbs like rosemary or even some succulents. They love the sun and can really flourish in a pot. Just make sure to keep an eye on watering—too much can be a problem!

Thanks for the tips! I’ve been thinking about rosemary. Do you think it would do okay in winter?

Good question! I've heard rosemary can handle some cold, but it's best to bring it inside if it gets too chilly.
