What Are Good Plants for Toddlers to Grow in Our Garden?

We're setting up an 8x4 garden bed in zone 9b and looking for some fun and easy plants for toddlers to grow. We're definitely planning to include zinnias and maybe some tomatoes, but we're open to other suggestions as well! What do you think would be good choices?

Radishes are a fantastic choice! They're quick to germinate, usually sprouting in about 20 days, which is great for little ones who might get impatient. Plus, the seeds are easy to handle, and they come in fun colors like watermelon and Easter egg radishes! A fun way to eat them is to slice them on buttered bread, which is a tasty treat! Roast them for a sweet flavor too—perfect for kids!

Totally agree! Radishes were the first thing that came to my mind too. They're just so quick and colorful!
