Hey everyone! I recently got a Delta 36-714 table saw in great shape, but it didn't come with a fence or any mounting rails, just the bare iron table top. I'm looking for recommendations on a decent fence that I can afford. Do these fences usually come with the necessary mounting rails, or will I need to purchase those separately?

I recommend checking out Vega fences. They’ve been around for about 40 years, and mine has worked flawlessly! They’re solid and offer a great performance. You can find options on sites like Rockler, where they have a variety of table saw fence systems and it's worth looking into to see what fits your needs best!
I recently added a Delta T4 fence to my Craftsman 113 and I've had a fantastic experience. It’s simple to install and aligns really well—accurate cuts every time! The T4 even features a small auxiliary fence for thin materials, though I haven’t really needed it much. You can save a bit by opting for the T3, which is similar but without that auxiliary feature. Both options come with everything needed for installation, including rails and an alignment guide. Just a heads up, I had to drill some holes in my cast iron top for the mounting, but it was no big deal. My only minor complaint is that the measuring tapes on the front rail aren’t very durable; they started wiping off, so I added self-adhesive tapes from Starrett, which have worked perfectly!
Excellent, thank you!

Thanks for the recommendation. Would you say the 26-inch model is sufficient for most hobby projects? Or should I jump to the 50-inch model since I might quickly outgrow the 26?
