I'm on the lookout for a large indoor plant that loves sunlight and can fit into a 20-25 cm pot. I'm hoping to find something with a fun color, like orange or yellow, since my collection is lacking in those shades. I already have a red imperial philodendron and a monstera alba, so I'd love a plant that adds a pop of color! Any suggestions?

Have you considered a snake plant? They have striking yellow borders and thrive in sunlight! If you're open to philodendrons, the Prince of Orange or Brasil varieties could be great, too. For something a bit different, maybe try a Maranta Lemon Lime or an Aglaonema which comes in various colors and generally enjoys sunny spots as long as you keep watering moderate. Good luck with your plant search! 🌞
I’ve killed a Brasil before and already have two snake plants, but I'm thinking about the Prince of Orange since it seems easier to care for like my imperial red.
If you enjoy patterns, then a Calathea White Fusion could be a beautiful choice for your indoor garden! They’re stunning and really stand out.
You might want to check out Euphorbias for some interesting colors. Dracaenas are also a solid choice, especially the reflexa and marginata varieties that thrive in direct sunlight. The ZZ Raven has dark leaves and surprisingly does well in bright light, which is quite cool! Or you could look into Aglaonemas, which can get quite large and colorful while tolerating a bit of direct sunshine.
Thanks, I have most of these already, but I might look into Syngonium for a bushy option that’s colorful!
Ficus Tineki or even a Monstera Thai Constellation could bring that color you’re after! They each have their unique appeal and love sun too.
I have a neon pothos, so probably not the Micans Lime. But thanks for the suggestions!
