I inherited a hot tub with the house we bought, but after a couple of years, it stopped working and the repair costs are too high to justify keeping it. We're getting rid of it, which leaves us with a small fenced-in Trex deck that was just the right size for the hot tub. I'm looking for creative suggestions on how to make use of this deck space now that the hot tub will be gone. Any ideas?

One fun idea is to replace the hot tub with a fire pit! You could create a cozy gathering spot with seating around it. It’s perfect for evenings outside, making s'mores, or just enjoying some conversation under the stars. Plus, it would be a great focal point for the deck!
If you have kids, turning the space into a play area could be super fun! Maybe add some outdoor toys or even set up a small sandbox. It would keep them entertained and make great use of the deck.
That’s a great suggestion! You could also put up a small climbing frame or slide.
Another option is to just create a chill spot with outdoor furniture. Some comfy chairs or a hammock could make it an inviting place to relax with a book or hang out with friends. Just accessorize it with some plants or outdoor décor to give it some life!

That sounds awesome! You could even add string lights to make it really nice at night.
