I'm just starting my gardening journey and looking for some flowers that I can plant now that will grow quickly. My garden gets sunlight in the early afternoon, and I have a garden bed ready. I'm open to getting some trays if needed. Any recommendations?

Cosmos and sweet peas are super easy to grow too. Just remember to keep picking those blooms, and they'll keep coming until autumn! If you want something that's friendly for bees, Phacelia is a great option. It's affordable and can double as green manure, and any extra seeds are perfect for guerrilla gardening! ?
You should definitely try pansies and violas! They have a ton of colors, including some really unique black ones. Plus, they look super cute with their little faces! ?
Nasturtiums are perfect for beginners. Their seeds are about the size of peas, and you can just plant them directly into your flower bed. They're easy to grow, tough, and they look beautiful. Plus, you can even eat them! I used to plant them around my son's playset so he wouldn't go hungry! ?

That's such a fun idea! I love how versatile nasturtiums are.
