I'm completely new to woodworking and recently bought a combo pack of tools including a drill, circular saw, and router. I want to take on a hobby with my son who loves building things like Lego towers. He's really excited about making a bird house among other projects, and I'd love to turn this excitement into a fun and educational experience for both of us. YouTube is a fantastic resource! Some channels I recommend are Steve Ramsey, Rex Krueger, and The Wood Whisperer for detailed project plans. There are different styles out there, like Matthias Wandel for some cool builds. If you're searching for specific projects, there are a ton of folks who have shared great tips and guidance online. I learned everything just by watching videos before I started at a cabinet shop!
