What Are Some Hardy, Dog-Safe Plants for Direct Sunlight?

I'm a beginner looking to add more plants to my sunroom, specifically in a bright spot right by a window. I'm searching for plants that are not only resilient but also safe for dogs. Any recommendations for plants that thrive in direct sunlight?

Hoyas are fascinating and can handle a lot of light! Each leaf can be unique, and if you care for them, they can even flower. You should definitely check them out, especially since they can vine beautifully over your plant stand!

I’ve had great luck with pothos! They seem to thrive next to my window that gets a lot of afternoon sun. Plus, they’re easy to care for and pretty.

Check out your local greenhouse or a big box store with a garden section. Look for plants they've got near the windows – those are already acclimated to bright light, making them an easier transition for you at home!

This is a great idea! I hadn't thought of that before, but it makes so much sense. Thanks for the tip!
