Hey everyone! I've got a border in my front lawn that I dug last year, but I'm having a tough time keeping my flowering plants alive. So far, I've managed to keep some big sedums, but I'm looking for a smaller carpeting type to use instead. I also have some lovely flowering alpines, sempervivums, and heather that I bought last year. I'm hoping to get some suggestions for low-maintenance ground cover plants that have bright flowers and can grow together beautifully, like a colorful carpet. Thanks in advance! I'm located in the northeast of England.

I’ve had great success with Geranium Rozanne, Erigeron, and Campanula! They’re really resilient and add a nice splash of color to the garden without much fuss.
You can't go wrong with Phlox, lithodora, and rock rose! They’re super colorful, and both trailing phlox and rock rose bloom for months. Perfect for creating that carpet effect you want! ?
Oh wow, those sound beautiful! They might be just what I need, thanks a lot! ❤️

I just made a post to share how they look in my garden!
