I've been struggling with weeds popping up between my patio flags just a week after clearing them out. I've tried using salt and bleach, but I'm looking for some practical, natural methods to prevent them from coming back without resorting to chemical weed killers. Any suggestions?

Instead of using chemicals, you could scrape out the soil from the gaps and refill them with sand. Weeds might still come back, but they'll be easier to pull out from sand rather than soil. This could save you some hassle in the long run!
One effective method is to use heat. If you have a heat gun, that should work great, but if not, a weed burner is another option. Just make sure to either remove or kill the roots to prevent them from returning!
I’ve actually tried a heat gun before with no luck. But thanks for the suggestion!
