One thing I still struggle with is figuring out when to cut with or against the grain. It can really change everything about the finish!
Honestly, sometimes I feel like I'm just hacking away at dead trees to keep up an illusion of control over my life. Not always the best strategy, but it’s part of the journey!
Oh, and let's not forget about safety gloves! They're great for slashing damage, but not so much for stabbing damage. Gotta learn how to protect those hands!
One tough lesson for me was learning to keep my hands out of the line of the cutting edge. Almost learned it the hard way—stitches are definitely no fun!
