What are the best bee-friendly flowers for a shady garden?

I'm renting a garden and want to improve it by removing weeds and planting pollinator-friendly flowers. The area is mostly shady and well-drained. Also, I have a cat and a small child, so I'm looking for non-toxic plant options. Any recommendations?

Borage is a fantastic choice! It’s known for its quick nectar replenishment, making it a favorite among bees. Plus, it looks great in the garden!

You can't go wrong with native wildflowers! They attract plenty of pollinators and usually thrive in a variety of conditions. A mixed selection will keep your garden blooming from summer to autumn.
