Hi everyone! I'm passionate about creating a wild garden but currently need to stick to potted plants. I want to fill my bigger pots with flowers that are not just bee-friendly but also help with repelling mosquitoes. Since I'm based in Germany, I'd like to focus on plants that are native or well-suited for the region. I've been considering marigolds because I'm also growing tomatoes, and I already have lavender on my balcony. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot!

To really make the most of your bee-friendly garden, check out the local bee species and what they prefer to eat. Knowing what's common in your area can guide your plant choices!
Great choices! Bees love salvias, lantanas, and verbenas. They all do well in pots, so they’d be perfect for your balcony garden.

That’s a good idea! How do I find out what types of bees are around here? I know there are bees and definitely wasps that visit, but I’d like to learn more.
