Hey everyone! I've been lurking in this forum for a while, but I've finally decided to dive in and become part of the community! I'm curious about what beginner plants I should get to kick off my collection. I've checked out some options at Home Depot and Lowe's, but it can be a bit overwhelming to make a choice. Any suggestions on great starter plants? Also, where's the best place to find them? I'm excited to uncover some plant treasures!

Definitely go for Pothos and spider plants! They're super easy to care for; just remember not to overwater them and they'll thrive.
Honestly, most plants are pretty manageable if you do a bit of homework. Just make sure you know what you're buying and how to care for it based on your space. For instance, Crotons and Echeverias need more light while ferns prefer humidity. Also, consider begonias! They often get overlooked but can be wonderful houseplants if you take the time to care for them.
I love my Pothos and spider plants too! They grow so fast and with minimal care, plus it's super satisfying to watch them thrive! 🌱
Taking notes! Thanks for the tip! 😊
