I'm renovating my main bathroom in a century-old house, and I want to keep things simple and budget-friendly since it's the only shower we have. I'm considering glue-up plastic panels for the shower walls, especially since one wall slopes due to the roof. It's new territory for me, so I'd appreciate any suggestions. If there aren't good plastic options, I'm leaning towards subway tile for the walls as I have some tiling experience. What do you recommend?

You might want to think about a prefab fiberglass shower unit; they usually come in four pieces: three walls and the base. It saves a lot of hassle!
There are indeed budget-friendly glue-up panels out there. They’re thin and can be easily cut to size. While they might not last as long as tile, they could do the job until you're ready for a bigger renovation. Just keep in mind they may not hold up as well over time!

So, just to clarify, none of these glue-up options hold up like tile? Maybe I should just stick with tiling after all.
