I'm in the market for a new dishwasher and would love some recommendations. I need a unit that features stainless steel, top controls, is quiet, has an express cycle, and works well with bottles and cups since I have toddlers and deal with a lot of milk cups. My budget is under $1,000 before installation. Additionally, it's a must that the dishwasher has a dry cycle that doesn't rely on heat.

I recommend checking out the Bosch 300 series, although it does have front controls. If you're willing to spend a little more, the Bosch 500 or 800 series meets all your criteria, including top controls. They really are worth the investment!
Do any of their models have an air dry option? I can't use heated drying on my pots and pans, and I often end up with wet dishes.
I've had the Bosch SHE68T55UC since 2007, and it has been incredibly reliable. We usually purchase through a local store that offers great deals, like free delivery, basic installation, and an extended warranty. Just recently, I thought my dishwasher was done for, but after a simple cleaning cycle, it’s running fine! I'm definitely looking forward to buying another Bosch in the future – highly recommend it!
If you’re concerned about durability and performance, I second the Bosch recommendation. Mine has handled lots of use over the years and keeps on going strong!

Agreed! Bosch dishwashers are top-notch.
