What are the best fast-setting glues for delicate repairs?

I have this beautiful antique bird carving with a broken wing, and I can't use clamps because of its shape. I know that hide glue would be the most historically accurate choice, but it takes at least 30 minutes to set, which isn't an option for me. Can anyone recommend a strong super glue or any fast-setting glue that would work well for this situation? Thanks in advance!

You might want to check out "Instabond" from Lowe's. It’s a CA glue with an activator that sets up in seconds. Just remember to follow the directions carefully and work quickly. I’ve used it for my carvings, and it works great!

I highly recommend using a fast-setting epoxy. Some brands can set in about 5 minutes, so you won’t have to wait long at all! It’s perfect for quick repairs like yours.

Super glue or CA glue works wonders for awkward shapes like yours! It might not last forever, but if you use CA glue with an activator on the corners, you can hold the pieces together long enough for something like PVA or hide glue to set later. Just keep in mind that PVA needs more clamping pressure for maximum strength, but for a carving that just needs to hold its own weight, it should be fine.
