So my girlfriend has recently developed a passion for gardening, and I want to support her interest. We have a garden that's about 50 square meters, mixed with grass, soil, and a large stony area. However, I know very little about plants and gardening tools. What are some good gifts or tools that I can get her to help her grow her new hobby?

A trip to the garden center together would be a great idea! It shows you support her passion, and she can pick out things she really wants or needs. For specific tools, a sturdy hand tool set, some soft ties for training plants, pruning snips, and a kneeling mat would all be really useful for a new gardener.
One item that seems to be a favorite right now is a hori hori knife. It's super versatile and can handle a lot of different tasks in the garden.
Your partner is so lucky to have you supporting her gardening! I highly recommend getting her natural fertilizers like seaweed extract and fish emulsion; they're nutrient-rich and safe for plants. Also, cute gardening gloves, fun seed packets, and maybe even a bird bath would be awesome additions! Don't forget a good pair of pruning shears, too!
I love the bird bath idea! About the natural fertilizers, is there one type suitable for all plants?

Thank you! I’ll definitely check that out!
