I'm looking to get my very first houseplant! I want something that I can easily take care of and that will fit nicely in my room for some fresh air. Ideally, I need a plant that motivates me to keep it watered, but I'm a total beginner and want something that looks nice too. I'm thinking of starting small, but I'd love to eventually move up to larger pots. What should I consider when picking my first houseplant?
