What are the best low-maintenance plants for someone who’s forgetful?

I love the idea of having plants in my home, but I seem to forget to water them, I move them around too much, and I end up second-guessing my choices. I'm looking for options that are extremely low-maintenance—like, ones you really can't kill unless you give it your best effort! Any suggestions?

If you’re after something easy, stick with succulents. They need to dry out between waterings, so you won't have a ton of upkeep. Just remember they love the light! If you want a leafy plant, think of getting a self-watering pot to help with moisture.

That's a smart tip about the self-watering pots! I'll have to look into that.

Consider getting an Aloe Vera or a cactus. They're quite forgiving and thrive on neglect, plus they don't need constant watering. You might also want to check out mint for outdoors; it grows like crazy!

A great option is the ZZ plant! They thrive in low light and can go weeks without water—just once a month should do it. They're practically indestructible!
