I recently moved into a rental with an empty backyard after removing a ton of ivy. The yard is totally bare now, and I'm worried about soil erosion since nothing seems to grow there. I'm looking for some affordable and easy DIY solutions to cover it up. Should I go for mulch, pine needles, or maybe just let some wild weeds take over? By the way, I'm located in Atlanta, so we do get quite a bit of rain here.

How about going with wildflowers and some grass? They're fun to grow and can add a splash of color to your yard. Plus, they’re usually pretty easy to manage!
Consider planting white clover in your yard! It’s not only easy to grow, but it also attracts pollinators and helps a bit with erosion. Plus, it's a low-maintenance option that fits your budget.

Does that mean I need to plant seeds for wildflowers and grass? I'm brand new to gardening; is it really easy to DIY?
